The oldest and most suggestive part of Torbole is made up of a small harbour with original fishing village houses that face Lake Garda. The beach is one of the longest and most beautiful along the upper region of Lake Garda, ideal for wind surfing but also for “lazy-bones” and families with children, connecting Riva’s beaches with a panoramic cycling and foot-path. Today Torbole – mentioned by Goethe in his “Viaggio in Italia” (“Trip to Italy”) – is a point of reference in Garda Trentino, a place known for its sun and mild climate representing the northern-most Mediterranean region in Europe. A territory to discover and enjoy by mountain bike or foot along old castle paths sampling wines and local dishes.
